Felt good durig the swim, was able to maintain a confortable pace and breathing. Really didn't push it too hard on this part since I haven't swam since my last triathlon (~month ago). Overall I was about where I wanted to be for the swim

Good transition for me. Compared to last year I took ~1 min off my time. The faster time is mainly due to skipping socks and not worrying about drying off
What would you do differently?:

At some point I need to experiment with keeping my shoes clipped into the bike

Not too bad of a bike for me. My gear changes were a little slow or non-responsive so that was a little frustrating.
Overall I had a good pace, may have been able to push it more but would have paid for it on the run
What would you do differently?:

No much here, kept a fairly steady pace, just more seat time during training

Not too bad here either. I overshoot my rack which cost me a few seconds but I was able to get into and out of my shoes pretty quick and suck down a gel.
What would you do differently?:

Again try leaving the shoes clippd in... that should allow me to get under 1min

This went better than I thought it would. Still slower than last year but I did not put in the running time during training so I was still happy with my time. The course was flat but there wasn't much shade out there. I'm glad the temperature wasn't too hot or that could have really changed this result. The last 0.25mile was a nice downhill

Not much, just need to train at a faster pace
