This was by far my best OW swim ever. I felt quite strong from beginning to end. Had some issue with siting.
What would you do differently?:

Dont depend on the person to your right to lead you to the shortest path around bouys...I breathe to my right most of the time. The bouuys were to my left so I figured If there was always someone to my right Id be heading in the right direction. Not so! ....she took me way off course!....But did get back on track once I SITED! DOY!

Once I got my wetsuit off I began putting my running shoes. Got one on and tied. Then I rememebered this was a triathlon....um its is Swim-BIKE-and then run. So quicked jerked off my tennie and on with the cycling shoes!
What would you do differently?:

Put cycling shoes on the first try.

This was a good run for me. I felt really good throughout..with the exception of that first mile. I did begin with slight cramping but luckily it subsided and allowed me to run easily. I went all out that last mile. Typical Elena style.:)

What limited your ability to perform faster:

This was my best race to date. I had a fantastic swim, decent bike and a good run. I'm stoked. Had a good time.
