Tough with the waves, but was able to stay with lead pack most of the way

Had some problems spotting on the way in, the waves were so high it was covering my markers

Great ride, got to ride with one of the lead women most of the way, pushed me through out.

Bike needed some tune up, I think the brake pads were rubbing, but still a great ride

Best run I have ever had, I gave it all, negative splits on each leg. I learned a lot about myself and my determination on this one

Warm down:

Walked back to truck and cooled off with shower

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Nutrition on run, My protein carbo load drink spilled all over the place, so I was limited to gatorade and gel, used it at 30 min intervals, but didn't have anything for last 30 min of race.

Event comments:

It was way too Hollywood. People got in the way a lot on the bike start, plus you have to ride down a road with speed bumps, so everyone jams to get to non bump side. Slowed me down, but I happy with this race big time.

Course: They cahnged the course when a bouy broke off. I crossed into T1 with 30:06 on my watch, but I think they added time, because they think the course was shortened, but the whole group felt the course was over the 1/2mile even with the change
