Swim
Comments: Started out OK with relaxed stroke. After 200 yards noticed I was off course. When I swam back I got short of breath and had to do the breast stroke and then side stroke to ge back in control. Thought about quiting but finally started feeling better. Last 400 meters was fine. What would you do differently?: Warmup more.Need to actually swim a couple of minutes and get body ready Transition 1
Comments: Long distance from water to transition area. Left wetsuit on until in TA. Had troble getting suit over ankles. Got Shoes on next and then put on jersey and helmet. Walked the bike out of TA to start What would you do differently?: Practice getting out of wetsuit Bike

Comments: This one went OK. Took my time and got it right. Run
Comments: Ran first mile OK. Then started to run out of gas. Had to walk /run rest of the way. Legs started cramping. Realized that I had not taken in hardly any fluids during the bike and there was only oneaid station at the 2.5 mile turnaround, but it was too late. Legs started cramping and had to walk most of the last 2 miles. What would you do differently?: Drink more fluids during the bike ride. Train better for the run. Missed some time doing run workouts the last 2 months because of a back injury. Post race
Warm down: Did nothing but walk a little around the area. What limited your ability to perform faster: Need to do more training, especially the run.
