Swim
Comments: Felt great in the swim. First open water swim without any breast stroke. What would you do differently?: On first bouy I should have stayed to the right to avoid the pile-up at the turn. I should have sighted better versus using the the pack. At one point I was easily 15 yards off to the side and had to waste time moving back inline. Transition 1
Comments: Need to remember body glide, and verify nutrition is set up for bike. What would you do differently?: body glide Bike
Comments: Need to continue my work on the bike. Lost too much time here. What would you do differently?: verify speedometer is working - not knowing speed I think affected when I was pushing and not pushing. Transition 2
Comments: Good Transition, need quick laces for running versus tying them. What would you do differently?: have feet out of shoes before dismounting. Run
Comments: Run felt good and strong, used the water over the head for the first time and it helped keep me cool. What would you do differently?: Start my push a little further out. Need to work on the first mile as the legs shift from bike to run Post race
Warm down: Walked a bit What limited your ability to perform faster: Need more time on the bike Event comments: Great race, very pleased with how it went. To me it was a great community race that was well run. My only improvements would be more bike racks. I really enjoyed the day. Last updated: 2012-05-21 12:00 AM
