Swim
Comments: Time includes run up to mat. With last yr's experience, I was a lot calmer and did not panic, even with all the dead fishes and chop. Managed to be 3' faster than last yr, solidly MOP. Yeah! Transition 1

Run
Comments: I ran hard, but still slow, very hot and humid by then. Avg HR = 153, Z5, very high intensity for me. Lap - Distance - Time/Mi - AHR - MHR 1 1.00 miles 08m 56s /mile 151 153 2 1.00 miles 09m 03s /mile 152 154 3 1.00 miles 09m 04s /mile 154 157 4 0.07 miles 07m 04s /mile 156 158 Post race
Event comments: Crazy fast field this year compared to last. Overall rank is women only. I was faster by 5' and dropped 1 placing, was 3rd last year and 4th today. I beat last yr's winner, who also won the yr before, and she only came in 5th this yr. Tough field, really fast people came out to qualify for 2013 London Worlds. My good friend, Susan came first in my AG, and qualify for the 2013 Worlds. This is a good prep race for my qualifier in 2 wks in Edmonton. Last updated: 2012-05-22 12:00 AM

Leamington Triathlon Weekend
Overcast
Overall Rank = 39/75
Age Group = Women 50-54
Age Group Rank = 4/9
Stayed at Leamington the night before. Thunder and lightning overnight and during registration. But somehow race (provincial sprint championships) managed to start with only a 20' delay, but changed to 1' between waves to get race in before the ferry.
No way, water was gross, with dead fishes floating everywhere.
