Swim
Comments: I'm guessing on the ranks.. I know I was faster than the rest of the clydesdales but there were lots of folks who didn't get split so I'm not totally sure. I haven't been in the pool since late february so I'm pretty pleased with my swim. I did start to peter out towards the end though. What would you do differently?: Train... :) Transition 1
Comments: No big deal here.. again.. Time is an estimate. Last year I tried to put a shirt on in T1. Time then was 3:14. Longer than my swim time :) I went shirtless today and dropped at least 2 min of T1. which is where my time decrease for this race was. What would you do differently?: Nothing.. Bike
Comments: Again.. Not sure about the ranking because not everyone had splits.. What would you do differently?: train more. Transition 2
Comments: Flawless really.. :) What would you do differently?: nothing Run
Comments: AG Rank is correct on this one.. I think I did ok considering my lack of training in the past months. The run was so short though I just got to feeling comfortable about 1/4 mile to the finish.. What would you do differently?: push a little harder. loose some freaking weight. Post race
Warm down: At a banana, chicken biscuit and donut. What limited your ability to perform faster: my fat arse.. :) Event comments: This is a fantastic race for beginners. The folks who ran it did a great job and are encouraging and really building the sport in our area. Last updated: 2006-05-22 12:00 AM
