got to race site early, about 1.5hrs pre-race. made everything much easier and less stressful.

bike did not go well. too much effort for the amount of wattage i was pushing. also could not take in eload. but, this was expected. too little training in the 1.5 months leading to this race.
What would you do differently?:

consistent training- example in spring 2012 i was training well. now, not so much.

$3 fee for 'spectators' is strange. also 'no dogs' is strange. the rationale for both of these things just was not apparent.
