Pre-race routine:

First ever tri, so I had no idea what I was doing. Got my bike checked in the night before, brought my gear to transition that morning and laid it all out underneath my bike. Very little room in transition....cramped.
Event warmup:

Roamed around feeling nervous. Was plenty warm standing around in my wetsuit.

VERY uncomfortable in the water....could not get into a breathing rhythm. Quite a bit of time spent side stroking and back stroking. Fairly embarrassing, to be honest, but I wasn't out to impress anyone.
What would you do differently?:

Way more swim practice.

Ran right past the table with my glasses on it as I got out of the water. Waited for a bit while a friend retrieved them while I was in T1. (Thanks Joel!)

Had my trisuit on under wetsuit so nothing to change into but socks and helmet.
What would you do differently?:

Probably just put my glasses in T1 with bike.

A bit wobbly coming off the bike. Walked more than I thought I would for such a short race.
What would you do differently?:

More brick workouts to acclimate to the feeling of running after biking.

I moved to the newbie wave, but race director still had me starting with my age group so the time was off by 20 minutes or so. Took a few days, but we got it ironed out and the results are accurate.
