Comments: I'm in week 5 of Pfitz 50/18, and chose to take no days off for this race, including 8k run on Sat. In hindsight probably not a great idea, but marathon is A race. What would you do differently?: Maybe taper for 3 days? It really sucked running that beat. Post race
Warm down: Ran another 2K then found wife/kids and stuck around for kids race!! What limited your ability to perform faster: Beat from training sched. Event comments: Hard to taper for any races without screwing the marathon plan. 2 weeks from now is even worse - 29k run on the same day as my mud hero obstacle race. Painted the deck/drank some beer and ate burgers the day before, so wasn't too hungry this morning. Ate 60cal of arrowroot cookies.
Need to get 27k today so jogged 2k before race
