Comments: Swim went better than last tri. Stayed calm and worked on the outside to let the faster swimmers go through. Used combo breaststroke and freestyle. What would you do differently?: Continue working in pool on form and open water swims for endurance and gain confidence. Transition 1
Comments: Just took my time, sucked down a gel before getting on the bike. Bike
Comments: Good ride, went out hard and faded on hills in the last 4 miles. But had fun on the bike course. Rolling hills were fun to fly down. What would you do differently?: More hill training. Transition 2
Run
Comments: Hilly - felt like it was all uphill. But kept decent pace. What would you do differently?: Keep training. Post race
Warm down: Walked mile back to start area. Ice bath later in the day. What limited your ability to perform faster: Used this race as a training workout.
