Pre-race routine:

Not too bad. I ate well went to sleep little late. No complains.
Event warmup:

None, just preparation. Too excited due to first tri.
Swim
  • 06m 52s
  • 328 yards
  • 02m 05s / 100 yards
Comments:

I had the worst swim ever. Terrible swim. TO start of i did had my gogle on. I was so excited and forgot them on my forehead. The I tried to put them under the water, which was even more dumb. had to stop and put it on. Lost alot of time on that. Got passed by four people.
What would you do differently?:

Prepare myself better, train and calm down.
Transition 1
  • 01m 51s
Comments:

Slow transition, got HRM twisted while trying to put it in.
What would you do differently?:

Run faster, practice more the HRM and pedals on bike.
Bike
  • 34m 58s
  • 12 miles
  • 20.59 mile/hr
Comments:

Did very good on the bike riding. EXCEPT that I had biig issues with my pedals. Could not get the cleats to fit. Finally had them in...
What would you do differently?:

Put the cleats on the pedals prior to the race. Practice doing it, and ride more to get stronger on the bike.
Transition 2
  • 01m 36s
Comments:

Really had hard time mounting the bike back on the rack. Loost alot of time on it. Plus got lost where to leave for the running. Good for firt tri.
What would you do differently?:

Take feet out during rinding and jumping out of the bike while moving. Mount the bike right, get more orientaded. Faster transition
Run
  • 23m 19s
  • 3.11 miles
  • 07m 30s  min/mile
Comments:

Had a good and confortable run. Felt that could run faster at the end. Due to first tri I was afraid of not being able to finish, reason why I ran carefully, not forcing as much as I could.
What would you do differently?:

Run little mote strong and train more.
Post race
Warm down:

NONE

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Afraid of not being able to finish.

Event comments:

Great experience and preparing for the next one in less the two months!! Try a tri!!!
