Run
Comments: This was the longest I had been on my feet during a race. After 11 miles, Mike fell into a run/walk pattern and slowed more and more as each mile went by. His walking pace was too fast for me to keep up though. He has such long legs. So I would fall behind when he would walk, then catch up when he would start to run again. I hurt more at the end of the race than I thought I would. But I never felt better after a marathon two days out. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Post race
Warm down: Walking around trying to get everyone to the pancake place before it closed. What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing Event comments: Great race. Would be fun to do it again and race it. Loved helping Mike cross the finish line of his first full marathon. Last updated: 2012-06-03 12:00 AM

Slept terribly the night before. So I was really glad when it was time to wake up at 4:00. We left in plenty of time to not be stressed at all.
Sitting around trying to stay warm.
