What would you do differently?: Adjust goggles tighter, water seeped in on every other lap. Transition 1
What would you do differently?: A swim buddy passed after turn 2 in the pool, by the time I was on my bike, he was still in T1 Bike
What would you do differently?: I was anticipating a 40 min ride, but I did it in less time! Transition 2
Run
Comments: Run without socks next time and invest in some type of speed lacing system. What would you do differently?: Practice practice practice .. still debating whether to wear socks or not. On the 2nd lap, i pretty much ran out of energy so I did a combination of run-walk-run-walk .. So, next time, I will run twice the distance or something. Post race
Warm down: Had a bagel w/ peanut butter, good way to get my energy back and plenty of fluids. Event comments: As a 1st timer, I thought it was very well organized. I was nervous going into the swim but felt at ease on lap 2. Volunteers were cheerful and motivating. I had a lot of fun. I will definitely do it again next year! Last updated: 2012-06-03 12:00 AM
