Swim
Comments: Not much to say about it besides this is what I have come to expect. I am not a good swimmer regardless of the amount of time I put in the pool. Glad to be moving to duathlons What would you do differently?: Push harder Transition 1
Comments: Pretty good transition which I have come to expect 70th place overall, 1st in division. What would you do differently?: Nothing Bike
Comments: Pushed hard on the bike, wanted to average over 21 mph which I was able to do although I was caught on the drawbridge coming and going behind a very slow cyclist and unable to pass. Know I gave away over 30 seconds on this, possibly more. What would you do differently?: Pass the slow cyclist coming back before the bridge. Transition 2
Comments: Another good transition as expected, 63rd overall and 2nd in division. Fumbled a little with shoes but nothing too bad. What would you do differently?: Nothing Run
Comments: Ran well even without my garmin. Wanted to push hard and run off of feel. Passed several people during the run and was only passed once by a relay runner. What would you do differently?: Nothing Post race
Warm down: Walked back into transition, got gear, and left What limited your ability to perform faster: My inability to swim, other than that, not much Event comments: Overall a good race for me to go out of triathlons on. Lost a little time on the bike due to slower cylists but with 1100+ participants that is to be expected. Ready to move on to duathlons as I have truly come to hate swimming even more as time has progressed. Last updated: 2012-06-04 12:00 AM

Not much, up at 5:00 to drive to site. Took my time and picked out a good parking spot to allow for easy access back out to get home.
Nothing, took bus to swim start and stood around awaiting wave.
