Swim
Comments: Didn't enjoy the swim at at all - it was murchy, crowded and i didn't settle into a rythm at any point What would you do differently?: Practice more open water swimming Transition 1
Comments: Was good but not stunningly fast What would you do differently?: Daddle less - practice more often, run faster between swim exit and transition area Bike
Comments: Bike was probably my best leg of the race and enjoyable to boot What would you do differently?: Get bike serviced - there were no problems but its not running perfectly either Transition 2
Comments: very quick T2 What would you do differently?: Very little room for improvement. Run
Comments: didn't enjoy the run very much as i was focusing too much on my time. Very strong sprint finish What would you do differently?: Relax and enjoy the run - worry about the time after i've finished Do more race pace practice close to the event Post race
Warm down: some strechting and a 25 minute massage What limited your ability to perform faster: Swimming open water in a wet suit - something i must practice before competing in open water triathlons. Mental focus during run - if i'd focused on the run rather than the time i probably would have posted a faster time Event comments: Very good race in an excellent venue and very well run Last updated: 2006-05-23 12:00 AM
