Swim
Comments: This waster was so cold. I didn't have a wet suit and when you hit the water it was like jumping into a pile of needles. Got into a good rythm and was able to ignore the cold enough to pass a bunch of people that you could tell were suffering. What would you do differently?: Not much this was my best swim splits to date. Maybe ask them to turn up the heater in the lake Transition 1
Comments: This is where the race went bad. I sat down to put on my socks and my left leg cramped up to the point I could not put on my sock or stand up. I debated quitting but decided if the cramps went away I would finish and at least have a good training day. Bike
Comments: Great challenging course with a decent amount of rollers. This was my best bike splits to date. I think I could have gone harder but the twinge in my left leg every time I really wanted to push kept me back. What would you do differently?: Not cramp in T1 and push harder I think I can pull at least a 16mph avg on this course Transition 2
Comments: Once again the clyde 1/2 mile in transition really kills T times. Run
Comments: I still suck at running but it was my best run splits. I even passed 3 people. This is the first tri where I passed someone on the run. What would you do differently?: Train harder on my running Post race
Warm down: Pancakes and chocolate milk and some stretching. Event comments: My best race splits and I PR'd last years time by 3 minutes even with cramps. Its going to be a good year. Last updated: 2012-06-06 12:00 AM
