Swim
Comments: Planned to start on the outside, but then got caught in the middle. Could have moved, but decided to start right in the middle of the mash. I figured those skinny guys couldn't push me around! Felt weird crawling all over bodies as we began, but pushed it hard and got out in front of some of them and settled into a rhythm. Had a very good backstretch experience. Transition 1
Comments: T1 time was slower than I thought it would be. Felt rushed at the time. Had a little dizziness as I bent over to put on bike shoes. Bike

Comments: Decent transition. Felt faster than it was. Still have some work to do. Run
Comments: So... I guess I'm slow. Still, this is my best triathlon run yet. I ran the entire way. Wish I would have pushed it more the last mile, but wouldn't have made much of a difference anyway. Post race
Warm down: Walked around. Drank water and grape G2. Ate a banana and a bagel. What limited your ability to perform faster: Um... I'm overweight. Let's see how I stack up after losing 90 pounds! Up early. Visit bathroom. Get dressed. Visit bathroom again. Walk 1/2 mile and stretch. Visit bathroom yet again. Drink some G2 on the way to the race. Arrive and walk to the check-in area. Visit bathroom again. Set up transition area.
Talked to friends and family who had arrived.
