Swim
Comments: Really good efficient start tot he swim. swimmers in line step to staff member insert your number and go. splenty of width to get around swimmers. No need to swim over or tap other swimmers. water was warm and clean. about 800 meters in I could feel i was starting to heat up. the turn around point you could tell you were swimming against the current. but it was not difficult. What would you do differently?: train more on swimming. swam 3 time in the 3 weeks prior to race. Transition 1
Comments: good transition time and area. plenty of space and not congetsted. right amount of staff. What would you do differently?: don't know. tty to get quicker Bike
Comments: great course. very flat 2 small hills. plenty wide enough to pass. river walk maybe a little tight on the return for the first mile or so. but not really a hinderance. What would you do differently?: keep training on bike speed with come with more work. Transition 2
Run
Comments: great run. very spectator friendly. i would like maybe and actual loop. instead of so many double backs. but it was a very fast run. i was happy with perfomance and i'm not a runner. Post race
Warm down: just get some water and sit down. What limited your ability to perform faster: my run was pretty bad but. it will get better Event comments: great race. I've done the sprint and olympic and now next year in 13 i will add the half iron distance event. such a great company for the series of events. with all the staff and organization. from communication to route layout and being able to accomodate large turn out. you would think this series had been a round more that just 2 years. In the future I see this series being in the top 5 in the tri state area. Last updated: 2012-06-13 12:00 AM
