Comments: Went out too fast and got clobbered. Got nailed so hard in the head that I lost my balance. Needed to get myself together and wound up breast stroking until I calmed down. Navigated poorly as well. What would you do differently?: Not panic Transition 1

Comments: Went well enough on a very crowded course. New Garmin was messed up so I had no data during the race. Just kept telling myself to push it. What would you do differently?: Learn to use my 910XT correctly. Transition 2

Warm down: Got some food and drink and cooled down a bit. What limited your ability to perform faster: My swimming sucks. I also realized that I like going long more than these sprints. Event comments: Well run event despite some challenging weather the night before. Will be curious to see how the new owners handle the race.
