Swim
Comments: The swim went very well for almost no swimming training. the wind? traffic kinda messed up my navigation out on the course. it seemed i kept veering back and fourth and running/ people running into me the whole time. What would you do differently?: more swim training going into the race. Transition 1
Comments: It went good, wish i had more lube on my heels to get the suit off faster. Even with my late arrival actually gave me a better spot in transition. What would you do differently?: Lube my ankles up for easy suit removal. Bike
Comments: The bike went well. My computer wasn't working so wasn't knowing my pace while racing. I raced just above comfortable race pace, was trying to leave some for the run. What would you do differently?: Nothing major, Just go faster! Transition 2
Comments: Lost my shoes getting off my bike, luckily have good spectators that picked them up and brought them to me. Gotta love good people. What would you do differently?: Probably one of my best transitions ever, so nothing! Run
Comments: It went fine, I felt like I left the bike with enough left but going into not knowing how rolling the run was. I had to stop and re focus and start running again. This race was the first time in race my mental strength was in check. What would you do differently?: Run more, Run more hills, Same old same old Post race
Warm down: Drank a lot of water and fluids. got ice water rag for the first aid station to help cool myself. What limited your ability to perform faster: My lack of training from moving all last month. the heat/humidity hit me hard in the last few miles of the run. Event comments: This race had the most volunteers I have ever seen at a race. It was very good to see them out there. They cheered you on which helps keeping you going. The course was good, after race was good too. Some reason they merged the competitive and age groupers together in the standings after the race was over, which is weird. The Final Stretch

Sunny
Overall Rank = 28/159
Age Group = 25-29M
Age Group Rank = 1/3
It was pretty basic. I at my bagel and banana like I do every other time. Got liquids in me and headed out to the race.
With my wrong turn on the way out there and got body marked/ set up transition I ran out of time. I stretched at the pre-race meeting and watched the 1/2 distance swimmers start. I trued to keep my nerves under control. I mentally felt good going into the swim.
