Pre-race routine:

breakfast, up to boulder, ate some bread and peanut butter in trans, sunscreened, etc.
Event warmup:

about a mile or so on the bike to just feel out the legs; then one loop in the closed off swim area.

first few buoys felt like they came on fast; had goggle leakage - not good. second half of the swim was kind of a struggle.

buy new goggles. i dunno.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

lack of brick training, lack of long run training.

Event comments:

eh, it's definitely not the jewel of the boulder tri series and it's obvious. still, brings out a lot of fast people to make me feel super f'ing slow.
