I have only been sporadically back in the water for about three weeks after a three month break. I didn't feel especially strong so it's definitely time to get back into the swimming routine to try and get my times down again. The competitor spacing was much, much better this year and there was little congestion, so that was nice.

This was my first race on a tri bike and I was pretty happy with the results. I didn't run into anyone or crash! Because I took three months off, I really wasn't as strong as I could have been or as I was in the fall. Overall though I was pretty happy with the results, but I think I will definitely improve as I get more time in on the bike. My aero position isn't as strong as the upright, so time in the saddle will also help strengthen that as well.
What would you do differently?:

Spend more time in the saddle.

Still need to work on my transitions. I watched another competitor that came in with me go out at least 30 seconds ahead of me. Frustrating.

The run went better than expected considering I haven't put that many miles in and I especially haven't been running at speed.
