This was a pretty good transition. I took time to clean the grass off my feet before getting into my shoes. That combined with a 1/4 mile run from the lake to the TA = 2min transition.

I was pushing hard on this one to make up for the slow swim. I had a solid run, made up a lot of ground, and out sprinted some one in my age group in the closing 200 yards to the finish line!!!
What would you do differently?:

Too much "rest and recovery" and non-training activities since IMTX. This race was the "get back into training" wake up call.
Post race
Warm down:

Not much of a warm down, just walking around wiht my girlfriend, post race food, cheering on the rest of the field.

Post race ART felt really good too!

Event comments:

This was my second sprint race ever, it was a lot of fun, well organized, and I will probably do this one again next year if it fits in my race schedule.
