Comments: First half of race felt great. Ran the first half in 64 mins. Only stopped 3 times for water stops. Second half was a little slower at 70 mins. Really struggled that last mile. What would you do differently?: Nothing except possibly use another gel around mile 10. Only used one at mile 7. Post race
Warm down: Food. What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing really. Event comments: Nothing bad to say about this race. For the inaugural race I think it went very well. Usual pre-race routine of breakfast. Peanut butter and jelly sandwich, cup of coffee, and glass of gatorade.
No warm up. Got to race site just in time to use bathroom and line up.
