Comments: Felt gassed 2/3 thru. Not feeling very good overall. What would you do differently?: Need to train. Transition 1
Comments: In spite of poor swims/rides/runs, I'm pretty happy with my transitions. Tried going shoes preclipped. Worked okay, except I had trouble getting up to speed to start and had to one foot push for a bit. What would you do differently?: Maybe try the elastic trick, but need to be able to get some momentum going to get feet on the pedals. Bike
Comments: Actually pretty okay with this bike. Kept speed on way down, stayed in aero longer than any ride to date. Really got it going on the upper loop. Managed the hilss well. What would you do differently?: Train. Transition 2
Comments: Really stoked with my T2's. Feet out ahead of dismount. Running to rack, put the shoes on and went. What would you do differently?: Just keep practicing. Run
Comments: Went out slow to pace myself and get legs. Stayed pretty slow the whole way but finished strong. Post race
Warm down: Saw the fam and chilled out. What limited your ability to perform faster: Will repeat ad nauseum, but the training really didn't happen. Disappointed on a number of levels. Event comments: Some things felt off this year. No water bottles, no foam crowns, no speakers out on River Road on the run course.
