Run
Comments: I flooded my apartment the Thursday before the race and worked 10 hour straight trying to clean it up (instead of sleep.) This was the worst time possible not to get some decent rest so I was a bit tired and lethargic leading up to the race (up until the bib pickup I was contemplating switching to the bike tour.) I was doing well with the same plan as I did weeks ago at the Disneyland Half, but simply ran out of gas to execute the rest of the plan in the last three miles and could not provide the kick needed in the last three miles for a successful negative split. What would you do differently?: Get decent sleep several days before the race x_x Wait for foot to heal up to be able to consistently train better Post race
Warm down: Walk down course, find friend who was still racing, run with her for about half a mile What limited your ability to perform faster: No enough sleep two nights before. Exhausted my reserves pre-race. Event comments: Plentiful porti potties, they got rid of that stupid pedestrian bridge from two years ago when I last ran this race. Looks like they improved the course and finish area to make it easier to get around. I wish they had chocolate milk at the finish, though. Last updated: 2012-07-10 12:00 AM

Eat spaghetti, had coffee on the way to the race, ate a slice of bread with some spread on it. Porti Potty, then went back to car to hang out, put sunblock on, and walk to start line.
Jumped up and down while waiting for the wave to queue up.
