dinner - hummus and pita co around 5, brown rice around 7
wake up at 4, 1 peice of wheat bread, peanut butter, bannana
leave apt at 4:45 - eat chocolate stinnger waffle
4 clif blocks for the 30 min before race

got kicked hard in the face early, threw me off. Settled down by the end but kept getting bunched up with slower swimmers.
What would you do differently?:

need to continue to work on swimming, did not start well.

sit on the ground to take off wetsuit as i have done before.

im a slow runner, this was about the pace i was expecting maybe a bit slower. I could not get a full breath for the first 2 miles, but was able to keep up my pace.

Nothing, just need to train more on the run
