Comments: I really went into this run with no expectations except that I was doing a run.I left my Garmin and iPod at home and wanted to run it by feel only, hoping for somewhere around a 27 minute 5K. I started about 20 feet back form the front of the pack and took off weaving through people. I got into a comfortabel pace and just ran. I missed the one mile marker and did not look at my watch until I hit mile 2. My watch said 15:20, and I knew I was having a good day. This charged me up a bit and I just kept running strong to the finish. What would you do differently?: pushed it harder, gone for a PB Post race
Warm down: bathroom, drink and then hopped in the car so I could get to church with the family What limited your ability to perform faster: nothing Event comments: Love that I almost had a PB on this race and I wasnlt even trying for it, I was just running comfortably. Woke up early, got dressed, used restroom and drove to the site
I got in a little jog beforehand and I did not feel great, really struggled to get loosened up.
