Pre-race routine:

Woke up around 5am. Ate toast with peanut butter and some yogurt. I arrived at the race about 90 minutes early.
Event warmup:

I got set up in the TA and made sure my bike was ready to go. I stretched before the race.

This was my 2nd open water race. I swam in the lake the day before and I felt very comfortable this time.

The result times are messed up. Chip malfunction? I am unable to see my splits until T2.
What would you do differently?:

I started later in the pack this time. What a mistake. I had to pass a lot of people and got boxed in a few times. I would definitely start closer to the front next time.

My run time was actually pretty good for me. I knocked about 1:30 off my time from the first race 5 weeks ago. I didn't feel great but I kept moving.

This was my 2nd triathlon. I improved my time by 6 min. 20 sec. in 5 weeks. I LOVE this sport! I can't wait to race again. I think that I am ready to move up to a Sprint.
