No running today! Bike leg of a local duathlon with friends. Great turnout for a smaller event, 530 people (including relays),
What would you do differently?:

Check that my cleats are tight. Was just about ready to take off, and noticed my left cleat was very loose and did not have a bike tool immediately handy. Thankfully made it through, but added it to my checklist.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Used to pacing myself on the bike for the run, took a little time to adjust mentally, but had fun once I got going.

Event comments:

Enjoyable, friendly atmosphere. Tons of relays of all types, with a good group of competitve racers also.
