Comments: I was just cruising on the swim. Thought I was going a bit faster than I was. I should have known from my easy breathing pattern that I was lollygagging. What would you do differently?: Swim harder Transition 1
Comments: Took my time to put on socks and such. It was a long run to the bike out. Bike
Comments: Settled into a solid pace. Probably left 10-15 watts in the tank. (184 W, 190 NP, VI 1.04, IF 0.77) Biked great. What would you do differently?: Bike a bit harder, but I was concerned about the heat on the run. Transition 2

Comments: Went out a bit too quick, so I tried to dial it back at mile 3. The heat finally broke me around mile 9. I plodded along as best as I could and am pretty happy with the time. Heat is not my friend. Post race
Warm down: Stretch and eat a little What limited your ability to perform faster: Not much. I tried to manage my race based on the expected heat.
