Comments: Still winded from swim. Bike was only 30 yards from swim exit. What would you do differently?: Bring something to sit on to put on shoes. Get a number strap. Since I was still shaky from the swim, I had trouble pinning on my number and stuck myself in the finger with one of the pins. Bike

Comments: Tough to gauge - never did an off road 5K before, so I don't know if it was good. Although I passed at least 10 people and no one passed me. What would you do differently?: Stick with it, don't stop as much (4 times). Bring gel and water. Post race
Warm down: 20-ounce gatorade, sit on step, catch breath, jump in the lake!!! What limited your ability to perform faster: Swimming killed me. Bike and run was good. Event comments: Registration lines were long, parking was difficult. Thunderstorms cut short the post-race stuff, so I can't rate that. I would do it again next year.
