Swim
Comments: Need to continue my swimming practice and work. I'm still slow as molases, and sighting needs to improve a lot. I probably added 150-200 yards because of poor navigation. What would you do differently?: not much. swim was still good for me. I swam the whole distance (didn't need to grab a bouy or boat), just need more work. I am planning on getting a swim coach next season. Transition 1
Comments: Had the 14th fastest transition overall and the fastest in my age group. I'll take that any day of the week. What would you do differently?: nothing Bike
Comments: rode a 35 lb mountain bike. Overall the bike went well, but got a wicked cramp im my right quad right before T2. fellt good overall though What would you do differently?: ride a better bike. Tri bike will be purchased before next season. I'm hooked now Transition 2
Comments: Since i was slow on the swim and not the fastest on the bike, those in transition before me knocked my socks in many different directions, so took me a second to find them both, but they went on smooth and shoes went on quick. What would you do differently?: still not much. gonna practice running sockless for next season Run
Comments: need to do more bricks because the first mile SUCKED What would you do differently?: run more bricks Post race
Event comments: First tri ever, so i had a smile on my face the whole time. Last updated: 2012-07-24 12:00 AM

Woke up at 5:00. Venue only a 10 minute drive from the house. Ate some oatmeal, and loaded the bikes on the back of the car (my wife did this event too)
Did some light stretching, but not much else.
