Woke up still not feeling so great from the night before. Attempted to eat but all I could manage was a banana.

Comments:

Little more swell in the water than the other 2 races of the series but still not too bad. Sighting was a little difficult coming in because of the swell. Found a person who was holding a good pace and coasted 3/4 of the swim behind him.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing really. I felt this swim was more difficult than the previous with the waves but apparently the current made up for it as all 3 times for the series were in the 24-25 minute range.

Thought this time would be slower. Going out felt strong. Didn't see any breeze in the trees/flags but was going well above average speed with little work. Found out at the turn around that was because of the tail wind. Headwind the second half sucked especially the mile after the turnaround due to being fully exposed to it on a bridge.

Putting my shoes on once again is a chore. I had to put my left foot on 3 times because it was wet and I couldn't get it comfortable. I'd like to get this T2 into the 1:30 or less range.
What would you do differently?:

Execute T2 properly. Twice I've gone into this with a plan and screwed it up. Live and learn.

Ran with a hand held that I froze the night before. Knew it was going to be hot out and wanted to make sure I had water when I needed it and not at the mile markers. Possibly had a little to much. Got gassed at the 4 mile mark again. Need to work on pacing the end of the bike/start of the run a little better I guess.
What would you do differently?:

Go out a little slower maybe?
