Comments: start was rough, lots of folks who could not navigate well and swimming zigs, lots of bumping, sandwiched between two guys for the first 200m, after rounding 1st turn I cleared traffic and caught some speed What would you do differently?: Get out faster and stay in front (avoid traffic) Transition 1

Comments: tweaked rear derrileur night before and lost most of my middle gears (frustrating); kept pace and hydrated/refueled properly What would you do differently?: pre-race w/u to ensure gear working properly; hit pedals more during periods of recovery. Transition 2
Comments: awesome time; best T2 ever. 1st in cat. What would you do differently?: nothing. Run
Comments: Very hard; toughest run (including training runs) this year; still kept pace and raced well. Had to walk about 25m of last steep hill. Objective was to keep fellow Clydes behind me (acheived). What would you do differently?: Train hills, big hills. Work on loosening up calves a bit sooner. Post race
Warm down: Stretching, water, sunkist soda, stood under shower tent to c/d, thanked family (helped get me through finish line even faster) What limited your ability to perform faster: need more training on hills, both run and bike; bike longer distances to ensure endurance is good.
