I liked this race, especially because it offered some different challenges/scenery. While the run was amazingly dull, I used the four miles to be self-motivated and just keep going!

Course: the time is deceiving, as it includes a trot about a 1/4 mile from the water to transition.Plus, I chose to remove my wetsuit on the shore and then put on my running shoes. Otherwise, I would be messing with the shoes twice. My actual time in the water was 12 minutes.
