What was I thinking? Spoke to Father-in-law, Ronnie, and I guess took a nap. Hips felt tight, so I took my time, but 3 minutes!

Couldn't get in aero, so need to make a major adjustment there: too far forward and a little low. Need to go back in to get refitted.
What would you do differently?:

Came out of the water crampy, so taper and nutrition were already an issue, but worked through it on the bike to be ready to run. I was 19.3 mph last time I rode this course on the old bike.

Warm down:

Strech and iced towels on the legs. Think I managed the pacing fairly well.

Event comments:

Would of/could of/should have done better on the bike. Happy with the race. Tried to encourage everyone I went by and thank the voluteers. If I raced more, especially shorter races, I would race better, so expectations were not in-line with experience. Christy did well, but her hip bothered her. Saw Wayne and Cody which was great.

Course: I liked the course. Legs were tired ad crampy already, which sucked. Took 2 salt tabs and a bottle of Heed and my aero bottle of water: made my me want to pee. Started to feel better, but also wanted to save it for the run.
