Pre-race routine:

Up at 0430, cup of coffee, 4 eggs, toast, cliff bar, water
Event warmup:

Did some stretching, 200 yard swim...nice warm water.
Swim
  • 04m 52s
  • 440 yards
  • 01m 07s / 100 yards
Comments:

Nice Swim. Took it out the way I wanted too and push the last 100.
What would you do differently?:

Not warm up so close to start. Would've been nice to stretch the tris a little more.
Transition 1
  • 01m 22s
Comments:

Frustrating T1...just couldn't get my crap together. Need to practice practice practice and get the muscle memory down.
What would you do differently?:

Practice more. Laid out equipment well, but didn't follow my plan. Just kinda got lost.
Bike
  • 35m 15s
  • 13 miles
  • 22.13 mile/hr
Comments:

Good Bike, I was happy.
What would you do differently?:

Practice taking in nutrition on the bike more. Taped Hammer Gel to the tube, that worked good. But consuming it was frustrating.
Transition 2
  • 00m 43s
Comments:

Much better transition than T1. Still needs work, but I was satisfied.
What would you do differently?:

Need to practice getting out of my bikes shoes before dismount. Would've saved a few seconds.
Run
  • 22m 2s
  • 3.11 miles
  • 07m 05s  min/mile
Comments:

Good Run...I wanted to be around 7's and I was just under. So zero complaints.
What would you do differently?:

Read the course description more carefully.
Post race
Warm down:

Not too much...stretch, cheered on my friends.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Wasn't my primary race this year...it's in the middle of training, I didn't really rest for the race.

Event comments:

Racemaker Productions is new, but they are making incredible strides. This was also one of their smaller events. Plenty of Vols on the course, but not much during registration or post race activities. Regardless, I really enjoyed the race, very proud of their commitment to being green and using sustainable products. We can plant our bibs and it will grow flowers! Pretty cool. I will definitely participate in multiple events hosted by them again.
