Comments: Wetsuit got a little stuck, kept my cool, ran with bike. In the run out, everyone decided to stop to get on bike while i was jumping on, almost ate pavement. What would you do differently?: Practice with wetsuit Bike
Comments: VERY Hilly. Going pretty well, passing people, doing my thing. 2mi until transition, chain decides to fall. Stop, put it back on, getting passed while going back up to speed. Then a little while later, pops off again. Sweet. All the people i passed, now way ahead of me. What would you do differently?: Everything Transition 2
Comments: Hopped off, legs were rubbing pretty bad. Couldnt get garmin wrist strap on. What would you do differently?: Practice putting on wrist strap? Run
Comments: Just couldnt get up to speed. Felt cramps coming on. Hips were achy. With about 1mi left, i see someone in my age group pass me. I go and keep up. My body was just not feeling the sub 6 pace. I was thinking to myself "Im going to beat myself up if hes the 3rd place slot." And he was... Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: Didnt train all week, and only half of last week. Being lazy. Just gives me the motivation to train all winter and start placing overall. Got lost on the way, so had to set up transition quickly. Ate clif bar, drank nuun, listened to the kid's story next to me how hes gunna be in rio's olympics 2016... We'll see about that
