Swim
Comments: Two lap triangle. The water and debris were pretty churned up by the time I entered the race. I hadn't been in my wetsuit for a while, and it felt more constrictive than I remembered. Need to wear it more often. The water was shallow, but swimmable. The ratings above represent my feeling about my swim, not the course or organization. What would you do differently?: Practice in the wetsuit more Transition 1
Bike
Comments: Cannot blame the bike. Was not ready for the hills. What would you do differently?: Flatten the course or ride a motorcycle Transition 2
Run
Comments: According to my wife and her family, I ran a three minute negative split for the second 5k. For this uncorraborared news, I bought them lunch. Choose your cheering section wisely and reward them. Post race
Event comments: A great small race with a really fantastic group of volunteers and organizers. You can't go wrong with a race that offers PBJs at the finish----unless you're one of those people who require having the crusts cut off. I had a great time---this was my first Oly distance as I prepare for a HIM in October and it was more challenging than I expected. A great vibe all around Last updated: 2012-08-13 12:00 AM
