T1 path fromthe water is gravel so you have to watch your step. Trans area is paved and wide open, very nice. Bike rack shifted almost fell bikes were wedged under the cross bar.
What would you do differently?:

Rearrange my area as others set up around me, some were in my area a little bit.

Decide before hand whether or not to run with glasses on, I farted around with them for a few second, no need to.

Run a few CC hills on unstable footing to keep sharp for curve balls like this.

Great race, really nice venue, the value isn't as good as others in the area.

Course: Country roads with a great bike lane. The hills are mostly rollers, none very big. Its a little congested at the turn around for the sprint and a few cars but not bad.

Course: Cross country trail for the first 2.5 with a fun up hill section just after mile 1. The trail is rocky, sandy, and has return sprint course runners on it so you have to watch your step. After separating the rest of the run is on rolling paved roads that are fast. Way faster than I am, youcan really make time if your ready to run.
