Comments: Ok Swim, I was expecting faster swim time. I could have pushed it harder but decided to save some for the bike. What would you do differently?: Nothing, just better conditioning. Transition 1
Comments: I thought I had a slow T1 but looking at rank it seems like I had ok T1. I know I could have had a faster time I was slow. Bike
Comments: Good bike. Around 35 overall rank. This is one of the biggest areas I have room to improve on. I know I can shave an easy 5 minutes off this time. What would you do differently?: Better conditioning, increase average speed. Transition 2
Comments: Ok T2. Middle of the pack 12th in age group. Run
Comments: Terrible run second last in age group very bottom overall. Another area I can easily shave 5 minutes or more off my time. All though my time was average for my training routine. 2.5 kms into run I felt sick and wanted to throw up. The next day I ran 10km in 54 min. I know I can improve this leg of the triathlon. What would you do differently?: Eat better in the morning to maintain energy. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: lack of condition and extra body weight. Need to loose 20 pounds minimum would like to be 40 pounds lighter. Event comments: I really like this race. It was quick to end. We did not have to wait around for prizes to be drawn. They had ticket numbers posted for us when we were completed the race and if we won something then just pick up the prize and go home. Great race, will do it again. Last updated: 2012-08-13 12:00 AM
