Comments:

Really liked the TT start. I did not have as good a swim as I would have liked. I need to work on from in the water. I have gotten better and worked hard in the pool. for some reason it did not transfer to the swim for this race. I need to actually think about slowing down and form and it will probably make me faster.
What would you do differently?:

slow down. work on form

went ok. I need to work on getting my heart rate down a little after the swim. effected the first part of the bike.
I had a GREAT transition spot and the two people that put up ballons made great markings for me.

slow heart rate.

First time with new bike and loved it. need to relax a little more and get into a good position. need to work on cornering a bit. they put down chalk to mark turns and I was afraid I was going to slip on every corner because of it.
What would you do differently?:

gain strength in my legs to handle the uphills better.

for the first time not doing it as a Tri as a relay i think it went well. I am not able to run due to having knee replacement so I walked the whole way. I was under my goal pace so I was happy.
What would you do differently?:

walk more at a race pace leading up to the race.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

bad knee and being fat.

Event comments:

First time doing a race in PTC...will NOT be may last. The volunteers were awesome. they were at every street bolcking traffic and they were all cheering. I great group of racers encouracing me on the run(walk). overall a very fun race. I will be back next year.
