Comments:

Very good run. It was a hard, but beutiful trail. Tree covered the entire way, huge ferns all over the ground. A little technical but nothing too bad. It was a lot of fun. They also had 5K, 1/2 marathon, 50K, so something for everyone.
What would you do differently?:

nothing
Post race
Warm down:

walked straight to the car and went to the cruise terminal

What limited your ability to perform faster:

hills

Event comments:

There weren't many drink stations, but we were warned about that ahead of time. The post-race pread was decent, nothing huge, but it was a small race. Lots of fruit, nad nutella (yay!)

Performance: Good
Course: 2 loops over monstrous hills. It was beautifu. Completely covered by tree canopy the entire way. Constant long hills, up and down. Technical with lots of rocks and roots. Dry trail, no river crossings -1 very small creek crossing that I stepped across on rocks without getting wet. The last 2 mmiles of each lap was straight downhill, which fetl great the first loop, but punded the hell out of my quads on the last loop
