Swim
Comments: "Hi, I'm Jonathan and I am a poor swimmer." With that said, I was proud of my swim on this day. I was about to freestyle the whole course and only tread water once because I lost navigation. What would you do differently?: Keep swimming Transition 1
Comments: Sat down to put socks on. Helped another athlete with dropped water bottle. Every second counts in sprints! What would you do differently?: I have to get a better plan on socks. I have decided until I miss a podium finish by few seconds I am going to wear socks. I have to live with my feet everyday. However, I do not have to sit on the ground spread eagle for 30 seconds getting my sock on! Bike
Comments: Yea....20 MPH average baby! it might have been 20.0 but hey, thats 20! Transition 2
Comments: Smooth transition. What would you do differently?: Nothing... I will take 45 seconds every day. Run
Comments: Anything under 9:00 miles is good for me this year. What would you do differently?: Practice. get pace to 8:00 miles Post race
Warm down: Walked around and chatted with folks I know What limited your ability to perform faster: Myself. Event comments: Good race for a great cause. Could use a little more organization post race. I was starving and was looking for more than a banana and milk. Last updated: 2012-08-17 12:00 AM

Woke up at 4:45. Had a cup of coffee and and light breakfast. Mixed two bottles of Infint. Everything was packed the night before. Took my time getting ready. Out the door at 5:40. Ten minute drive. Picked the spot I wanted to transition by 6:00. Talked to everyone I know until 6:30 (want to start focusing on task at hand). Did a 250 yard swim right before line up.
