Comments: Hard to get into a rhythm of breathing - so many people and was getting water in my mouth. Need to work on sighting as well. Transition 1
Comments: Sat down - put on helmet and glasses. Put on socks and shoes. Ran with bike to bike exit. Very long run from beach to T1 and major uphill. Walked this part to make sure I had plenty for bike. I think this was a good decision. Bike
Comments: Took a lot to learn, first 4 miles on how to pass. I started out first 4 miles at a slow pace - 16.6 miles per hour and then kicked it in as I figured out how to pass. What would you do differently?: Pass early and often. Transition 2
Comments: Little slower than I would have liked. Should be down to 1:30 next time. Need to work on this. Took longer than it should have to get shoes off and running shoes on. Also drank and had a few cubes here. Next time need a better pace. Run
Comments: Need to stride out better. This was the hardest part of the race for me. What would you do differently?: Train more for this part, felt really slow and struggled at multiple points. Post race

Got to transition at 5:30 and got everything setup. Walked around a bit but glad to get in early and setup. Filled up the tires with air and was ready to go well in advance.
High knees on the beach, plenty of stretching.
