oatmeal with maple syrup 2.5 hrs prior. banana and carrot/beet juice 1 hr prior. sips of gatorade

Run was a lot of fun! West Dallas section was great. There was a lot of people.
had three gatorade blocks.
What would you do differently?:

Probably drank a little too much and had a slight cramp around mile 8.5. Backed off on water and I was fine.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

stuck to a plan of a slow pace at the start and wanted negative spits.

Event comments:

This was my first running race. I was very happy with the entire event.
