Had front rack, and transition area was simple and small. Easy to get in and out. 2nd in AG. Still struggling a bit getting shirt on, but much improved with sleeveless shirt.

Overall good. Only started raining on last half mile, so I got off the course before it got wet.

Very fast this time. New bar end brake levers make handlebar racking easy and safer than on brifters. Bike is too tall to rack by seat. Switching to elastic laces before last race makes getting shoes on super easy now. 2nd in AG

Coming up on finish area, had lost track of time as i had accidentally stopped my watch. Thought I was finishing only to start the second lap. Better than some lately, but not as good as I feel as I can do.
What would you do differently?:

Trail shoes.

Event comments:

Should have stayed for awards, but didn't want to make the girlfriend wait around another hour. Didn't know I placed. My first podium and I didn't stick around!

Felt ok, was able to swim unobstructed. Start times were fixed, so guy ahead had a 30 second head start. Caught him on 2nd lap and passed midway. This was a good time for me.
