Comments:

Need to sight better. Tried relying on following people but the water was too dark and could not see well enough for that. I am seeing that swimming is a strength for me compared to others.

Had a hard time with wet suit, couldn't find the strap. Also had a hard time with the helmet, had a clip malfunction that slowed me up.
What would you do differently?:

Got to do a better job of making stuff is ready to go. Forgot to fill water bottle so had no water on the bike.

I was horrible on the bike. Gear changes going into climbs was horrible. I had no water on the bike. Right calf was cramping big time during the ride.
What would you do differently?:

I have to spend more time in the saddle. I only rode 4 times in the last 2 months and paid the price for it. Got to spend some time riding hills to get stronger.

Had to stop early in run to stretch out cramps, had to pull over into the wood to pee. Thes slowed me up big time.
What would you do differently?:

I have to do a better job of drinking more water pre race and make sure I pee just before the start of race.

Got to spend more time on the bike!!

Event comments:

The was its first year and I thought they did a fantastic job!!! It was a tough tri because of the wind and temps. The bike is hilly, but manageable. The volunteers were great!!! I am coming back!!
